It covers the time period from the late 1800's through present day. Albert Doane is a local historian that has been creating the collection for several decades. His grandfather moved to Lorain County in 1894 and the family has lived and worked there ever since. He donated it to the Lorain Public Library in 2007. It is kept at the Main Branch in the Local History department. For more information please email the Lorain Public Library Archive at archive@lpls.info.
