A postcard view of the Lorain Street Railroad (Railway) "Loop" at the intersection of Broadway and West Erie avenues, Lorain. The "Loop" is where the streetcars turned south to travel down Broadway Avenue. The Wickens Furniture building is partly visible in the center right of the photo, as is a streetcar approaching the intersection of Broadway and Erie avenues.
The postcard bears two cancellation dates, May 18, 1908 at 5:30 PM and May 19, 1908 at 7 AM. The May 18 cancellation date was made at Lorain, Ohio, while the May 19 date was made at Rocky River, Ohio. The postcard was addressed to Miss May J Dean, Rocky River, Ohio. No publisher credit for the postcard is provided or known.
