The Lorain Public Library in its first location on West 10th Street. The library was constructed at this location in 1903.
It was known as a "Carnegie Library", one of hundreds throughout the United States, because industrialist and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie donated the funds for library construction.
The date of the photograph is not known.
