Tom Stockard is a life-long resident of Avon. He attended St. Mary’s School until ninth grade. Tom was the sixth of ten children. He served in the Air Force from 1952 to 1957 during which a great amount of change and development which took place in Avon. Also present at the interview was Tom’s son John Stockard.
